OK, I think we can all agree that Social Marketing is one of the popular phenomenons that is defining the way that the Internet is evolving. I think it’s also safe to say that the subject is akin to beating a dead horse. At least, in my mind … I see a horse.

I have to say too that I’ve become woefully disillusioned with the amount of capitalistic propaganda that so-called marketers are content to litter the web with in the name of “marketing.”

Alex Sysoef wrote a remarkably thorough guide for WordPress blogs, outlining the most effective plugins and widgets for SEO and Web 2.0 compatibility.

While his post also includes a recommendation for hosting your WordPress blog, I left that part out because I seem to one of the few who has a consistently negative experience with them. At any rate, the WordPress guide itself is gold. The only thing I can add is my personal recommendation for Alex’s Web 2.0 Wealth to take every advantage of using WordPress as the optimized blogging platform-of-choice.

Online photo-storage sites are very handy - for personal reasons, as well as marketing.
